I BELIEVE THAT MY IMAGES SHOULD TELL A STORY ABOUT WHO YOU ARE AS A PERSON AND ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN A HUSBAND AND WIFE. I TRY TO CREATE IMAGES AT EACH AND EVERY WEDDING THAT ILLUMINATES THE RELATIONSHIP OF THE NEW FAMILY BEING CREATED THAT DAY. MY GOAL IS TO PROVIDE YOU WITH A DOCUMENTARY - BASED ILLUSTRATION OF YOUR WEDDING DAY, WITH MINIMAL GUIDING OR POSING. I'M NOT JUST TRYING TO "MAKE GOOD PICTURES", BUT TO TRULY MAKE IMAGES THAT CAPTURE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE IN LOVE.

WHAT TYPE OF PHOTOGRAPHY DO YOU DO?
I cover weddings in a very journalistic style but don't think photography should be limited by a "genre." While I'm very hands-off and unobtrusive in my coverage of the day, I do believe that there is a time and place for gorgeous, casually posed images of the bride and groom together. so while I won't stop you and make you pose while cutting the cake, I would like to get some time alone with you both sometime during the day to create some images of you without your wedding party or guests looking on.
DO YOU STILL TAKE STAGED FAMILY IMAGES?
Absolutely. I strongly believe in those family images, as they are records of your entire family at an important time in their history together.
ARE YOU THE ONLY PHOTOGRAPHER?
Yes. I am the sole primary photographer.
DO YOU HAVE AN ASSISTANT? SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER?
Yes. The assistant photographer does very minimal second-shooting and assists with lighting as needed.
WHO PROCESSES YOUR IMAGES AND WHERE DO YOU DO YOUR PRINTING?
I digitally process my own images and all reprints and enlargements are printed at a professional photo lab.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET OUR PRODUCTS AND IMAGES?
Online galleries are posted within two weeks of the wedding date. Printed proofs and the digital files are available within 3 weeks of the wedding date. Upon final approval of album designs most albums are ready for delivery within 3-4months.
HOW MANY PICTURES WILL WE GET?
The number of photographs taken depends on many things - the number of guests, hours of coverage, types of events. Average number from a typical 10 hour wedding is 400-650 edited images.
HOW DOES THE ALBUM DESIGN PROCESS WORK?
I prefer that you select the images you DON'T want in your album. From the remaining files I will make first draft of your album, and after your approval it's sent to printing lab, where it could take up to 4 months to complete.
WHAT IS "ONLINE GALLERY"
The online gallery is a private, password protected section on our website where all of your wedding photographs will be placed online for you and your family and friends to view. All you have to do is provide the password to anyone who you want to be able to view the images.

Top of the line professional Nikon equipment and extensive backups.
HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN IN BUSINESS? HOW MANY WEDDINGS HAVE YOU PHOTOGRAPHED?
I've been in business since 2004 and have photographed over 180 weddings.
CAN YOU HOLD THE DATE FOR ME?
I'm sorry, but we can't hold the date or pencil you in. To be fair to everyone we can't "hold" a date without a retainer and a signed contract. We accept bookings on a first come/first served basis.
WHAT IS YOUR PAYMENT SCHEDULE LOOK LIKE?
A booking fee/retainer of $500 is due to reserve your date. The balance is due on or before your wedding.
I HAVE TO CANCEL MY WEDDING, CAN i HAVE MY RETAINER BACK?
Generally - no you cannot. The retainer fee and all monies paid are non-refundable. The retainer guarantees that we will hold the date exclusively for you and once you've signed the contract we do turn down all other commissions for that date. However, if you you cancel your date and it is booked by another party I will refund your deposit.
IF WE DECIDE TO COMMISION YOU FOR OUR WEDDING, WHEN SHOULD WE BOOK ?
ASAP. Since we cannot "hold" dates or "pencil you in", dates are booked when...well, when they're booked. Most of my commissions contract her within a year of the wedding date, sometimes as close as two months prior, sometimes a full calendar year ahead.
DO YOU OFFER DISCOUNTS OR OFF SEASON OR NON WEEKEND EVENTS?
Occasionally discounts are available but are based on time of year, travel schedule, and availability. If you have concerns about your budgetary needs, please contact us and let us know.
